Project ATX6 || SEASON ONE MUSICIANS
This inaguarl group set the tone for how the project would exist for years to come. The idea of sending six musicians from Austin to showcase at NXNE in Toronto was conceptually an experiment. As an artist, I always understood the frustrations with having to do everything yourself. I always understood the difficulty of having to start with nothing.
The first trip to Canada with this group was a life changing, career changing experience. We bonded musically while boarding in a three story flat. We only had access to busses and subways as a means for getting around. We performed only twice in Toronto that year, but immediately following the trip, we were invited to perform at Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany. The rest is history. - Chris Brecht
